PhytoLink's Directors have backgrounds in industry research, project management, government and information science at senior levels. They bring together a range of complementary skills that enable them to identify client needs, to find phytoremediation solutions to those needs, to recruit the relevant international and Australian experts and to manage phytoremediation projects.

Richard Yeates operates as PhytoLink's Queensland Director from his office at 18 Kate St. Indooroopilly. He has extensive contacts at both State and Local government levels and broad experience as an information scientist specialising in industry research.
He co-ordinated  the Nudgee phytoremediation field trial for Brisbane City Council and is performing  a similar role in  field trials  being conducted at the Lakes Creek Road landfill for Rockhampton City Council and the Pomona landfill for Noosa Council.  Mr. Yeates has also been appointed Project Co-ordinator by Central Queensland University and University of Queensland for an Australian Research Council funded study on plant hyperaccumulators for arsenic.
Mr. Yeates is responsible for monitoring and maintaining contact with international developments in phytoremediation. For example, in the case of landfill remediation he maintains contact with the United States Environment Protection Agency's groundbreaking 'Alternative Covers Assessment Program'
PhytoLink keeps abreast of current research in phytoremediation and in touch with the experts carrying out the research.
Mr. Yeates recently managed, on behalf of the Waste Management Association of Australia, a national seminar tour of five states on phytotechnologies. This seminar tour featured two of the founders of the ACAP program in the USA, Mr. Steve Rock and Mr. Bill Albright and a leading researcher and practitioner in the field of phytoremediation  Dr. Ari Ferro.

Roger Stuart directs the company's ACT office and also manages business development. Immediately prior to joining PhytoLink he was a senior executive in economic research and policy development in the Commonwealth Government. He had earlier worked on energy, environment and technology issues at the OECD's International Energy Agency in Paris, as a research fellow at the Australian National University's Centre for Resource and Environmental Studies and as an industrial chemist in industry.
