We evaluate and implement phytotechnology projects, particularly in the area of landfill phytocapping.
We deliver world-leading expertise in phytocap materials characterisation and cap design, including hydraulic and gas control and restoration perspectives. We have a sound understanding of phytocap construction techniques and the requirements of civil and geotechnical engineers. We work with selected engineers who are skilled in the construction of phytocaps.
PhytoLink employs a phytocap design sequence that includes definition of performance criteria, site characterization, preliminary design (supported by numerical modeling), final design and construction. We recommend that each step be accompanied by dialogue with the regulatory agencies to ensure a successful review process and to give site owners appropriate cost control. We adopt a staged approach to provide clients with the flexibility to amend their work programs in response to their changing requirements and information gathered from earlier stages.
PhytoLink also designs and plants phytointercept systems that act as hydraulic barriers to contaminated groundwater plumes.
